Two years with YouFibre: what's changed, what hasn't
I switched to YouFibre in early 2024. As of March 2026, I've been on the service for just over two years. This is a quick update on how things stand.
Reliability
There have been two notable outages in two years. One lasted around 90 minutes, one was closer to 20 minutes. Both were communicated via YouFibre's status page and resolved without me needing to contact support. That's a significantly better record than any of my previous ISPs over a comparable period.
Speeds
Still consistently at or above the advertised 2 Gbps on download, and 1.8+ Gbps on upload. Nothing has changed there. Peak-hour degradation remains undetectable in normal use.
Pricing
There was a small price increase at renewal. Worth checking the current package pricing on YouFibre's website rather than relying on what you paid when you first signed up. Still competitive compared to the alternatives at this speed tier.
Would I switch again?
Yes, without hesitation. The connection has become the one part of my home office setup I don't have to think about. For someone working from home full-time in a technically demanding role, that's exactly what I need.
Use referral code KCR5KH when signing up. Both parties may receive a reward after a successful installation and first bill payment.
